Carol Christian Poell is noted as one of the most researched designers of the twenty first century. Although his production timeline started in 1994, releasing a capsule of only a basic 4 items, he has gone-on to immerse himself in the experimental avant-garde cosmos. Growing up, Carol acquired the tricks of the Gerberlehre trade early on. Having been birthed into a bloodline of leather manufacturers, Carol’s career officially started at the age of 15 in his hometown of Linz, Austria. Multiple years of his early life were spent studying tailoring at fashion schools in Vienna and Milan, before making the traditional jump towards a more independent endeavor. His collected principles from the arduous tasks at his family business and the scrutiny of tailoring and design concepts at his universities, has prepared him to take a very purposeful path in a recently manufactured industry.
The Spring 2005 collection was Carol’s epitome of versatility. Each garment was to be worn on its own without the need for other obtrusive items getting in the way.
This belt features a rubber exterior with a tan leather interior. Four binder clips open and close around a series of cutouts in the leather depending on the desired fit of the wearer. This belt fits is intended to fit a 30-34 waist.
