Junya Watanabe AW2002 South Dakota Middle School Cows Longsleeve

$150.00

Prior to presenting runway collections, Junya Watanabe resorted to creating a variety of wearable designs utilizing some of the most common workwear silhouettes. He differentiated himself through the use of advanced synthetic fabrics, which deemed to be unorthodox for the crude garments that were being replicated. The Autumn / Winter 2002 collection introduced a long-lasting collaboration with the denim brand, Levi’s, as well as plenty of collegiate apparel in a display of his perception of American university culture. Fictional schools were founded and printed onto the traditional wardrobe of students across the nation.
