The Veronique mindset is to create clothing that fits the body flawlessly. She believed that a better fitting garment makes the wearer more comfortable and more physically appealing. Throughout her 6 years designing menswear, Veronique expressed this mentality by way of fitted shirts, abstract knitwear, and creased wool trousers. Veronique Branquinho grew up in Vilvoorde, Belgium being a loner of sorts. She spent a lot of time out the the spotlight of attention which accurately reflects her understated design style and mysterious aesthetic. She dressed her models to appeal scholarly and quiet and attempted to represent the appearance of an everyday person rid of the traditional runway glam. Romance and functionality were two key principles that Veronique Branquinho followed in order to deliver products that made her clientele reserve spaces in their highly calculated wardrobes.

This cropped collared bomber is detailed with thin white pinstripes that overlap the two front cargo and two from welt pockets. Thick black elastic ribbing on the sleeves and the base keeps the piece fitted and close to the body. The shoulders feature epaulettes with an underlying padding for a structured shape.
