Maison Martin Margiela AW2003 Artisanal Patched Corduroy Trousers

$285.00
Sold

Martin Margiela’s artisanal line was conceptualized in the year of 1988 as a means of recycling vintage garments and giving them a new life through reconstruction. These new creations are intended to be worn in a different way or introduced to a new environment when compared to its original purpose. From minute adjustments to complete deconstruction, this venture exists as margiela’s most experimental line and continues to set an industry example of repurposed fashion.

These corduroy pants are made of a khaki corduroy with darker beige patches near the knees, the back pockets and around the leg opening. Although it is a commonality for patches to be placed atop and attached to an existing garment, these trousers have been cut with fabric removed, to make way for new fabrics that are introduced. Marks and signs of wear are apparent throughout and are to be expected of a vintage garment of this kind.

Marked size M (please refer to measurements):

Waist: 40cm

Inseam: 75cm

Front Rise: 32cm

Hem: 21cm
