Undercover AW1996 Barbed Wire Fleece Jacket

Undercover’s A/W 1996 collection entitled “WIRE” explores themes of incarceration. Featuring a barbed wire graphic, which permeates throughout much of the collection, Jun Takahashi also employs the use of painted black and white striped denim resembling that of 20th century prisoner uniforms. In addition to painted trousers, Takahashi used intricate knit blends in order to enhance each garment.

This grey fleece zip-up features zipped cuffs and paneled sleeves. A wool-blended barbed wire graphic is sewn into the chest of this outerwear garment. The back of the fleece is completely reconstructed with asymmetric seams. The front pockets and shoulder vents are lined with a grey mesh fabric. This is a re-production of the garment under the UNDAKOVRIST line. Modifications were made from the original silhouette for a boxier and more proportional fit.

Marked size L (please refer to measurements):

Shoulder: 21in

Chest: 23in

Length: 31in

Sleeve: 24in

Condition: 8/10. Good overal condition.
