Undercover SS2003 ‘Scab’ Distressed Accessory T-Shirt

The Spring / Summer of 2003 season was an important debut in Paris Fashion Week. Jun Takahashi’s collection, entitled “Scab”, was known for the crust patchwork and a mix of both bright and bleak colors. The decaying garments were loosely held together by pieces of fabric that were meant to resemble human scabs. Themes of recovery and hope in a post 9/11 world broke the silence and are what made this particular collection so significant.

This faded rusted grey t-shirt features severe distressing at the hem, sleeves, and collar and a black print that resembles dueling tribal necklaces around the collar. Small intentional holes can be found throughout the tee.

Marked size S (please refer to measurements):

Shoulder: 16in

Chest: 18in

Length: 25in

Sleeve: 8.5in

Condition: 6/10
