Undercover SS2003 ‘Scab’ Patchwork Quilted Trousers

The Spring / Summer of 2003 season was an important debut in Paris Fashion Week. Jun Takahashi’s collection, entitled “Scab”, was known for the crust patchwork and a mix of both bright and bleak colors. The decaying garments were loosely held together by pieces of fabric that were meant to resemble human scabs. Themes of recovery and hope in a post 9/11 world broke the silence and are what made this particular collection so significant.

This pair of khaki trousers features tonal hand sewn patches down the right leg, with an exposed front zip fly, and vibrant quilted fabric throughout the front and back of the pant. A one-track zipper wraps around the waist of the trousers, accompanied by a series of metal d-rings.

Marked size M (please refer to measurements):

Waist: 15in

Inseam: 30in

Front Rise: 10.5in

Leg Opening: 9in

Condition: 8/10
