Veronique Branquinho is credited with producing some of the most significant menswear collections of the early 2000’s by referencing a side of pop culture that is more practical and wearable. Through music and theatrics, Veronique creates a domain that beckons fellow romantics to enter. This particular collection references the David Lynch series, “Twin Peaks.” Veronique recreated sets and hired lookalikes to reproduce a live Twin Peaks episode at Pitti Imagine in Italy. Models lined up wearing thick sweaters and bold plaids similar to the styles of the residents of the small logging town, “Twin Peaks.” This wool vest is composed of a plaid outer and a sherpa wool lining that trims the front pockets, the chest, and the back shoulders. Dual plaid straps can be buckled at the bottom and collar of the vest for an alternative fit. Located on the inside of a jacket is a sealed pocket for additional storage.
