Yohji Yamamoto Pour Homme SS2001 Reconstructed Plaid Shirt

$100.00
Sold

The Spring / Summer 2001 Pour Homme Collection features tried and true early 2000’s Yohji Tailoring with highlights beginning with unconventional darting on office-style shirts, and overlapping lapels on blazers and outerwear. As the collection progresses, paper-like wrinkled garments and floral patterns make their way into the looks. To mix things up, Yohji added some utilitarian elements to the collection by the utilization of cargo waist bags on creased trousers, as well as strong references to 1820’s formal attire, in his inflated sleeves on blazers that were naturally paired with slim suiting.

Clothing that is reconstructed, is typically presented with raw-edges and frayed hems. Yamamoto’s seamless cutting techniques make a clean reworked body possible, and enable the garment to be showcased in a beautiful and sophisticated fashion. This collared shirt features a blue and white plaid cotton fabric and is cut and sewn to distort the repetitiveness of the pattern.

Marked size 3 (please refer to measurements):

Shoulder: 48cm

Pit: 58cm

Fr. Length: 79cm
